Day 2004, the biggest day in the hunt season and the hunt members

destruction of their culture build to a peak on the day of
the ban. |

in West Wales, and the stress on the farming community is greater
than ever as newborn lambs are killed by foxes. A legal foot
hunt with two hounds is organised by the Llanwnnen Farmer's
Hunt and two foxes are shot. Prices are down at the local horse
market due to uncertainty about the future under the ban and
a local hound show offers a slice of life in this isolated
community. |

Episode 3: Summertime in the
farming community means long days and hard work. Haymaking
and baling takes up most of the time and the farmers are dependent
on good weather for next years
winter feed. A statue is commissioned for the Aberaeron Welsh
Cob Festival and there is controversy over the choice of a
location that will satisfy the Town Council and its Planning
Department. |

Episode 4: The hunting season
has started and there is more support in the countryside than
ever. Although the initial worries about the legality of each
days hunt seem to have been
forgotten, there is still a great deal of resentment in the community
at the meddling ways of 'townies' influencing their
rural lifestyle. |
